Barrister Gohar Ali Khan was elected as new PTI chairman without any opposition in internal polls.

In intra-party elections conducted on the Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) orders, PTI elected Barrister Gohar Ali Khan as the new Chairman.

Omer Ayub Khan was elected as the party secretary-general as unopposed. Munir Ahmed Baloch was elected as the party president of Balochistan, Haleem Adil Sheikh of Sindh, Ali Amin Gandapur of KPK and Dr Yasmin Rashid as the party’s Punjab president.

Barrister Gohar Ali Khan filed his candidacy papers for the position of party chairman a few days after former PTI head Imran Khan nominated him for the position.
