Unidentified terrorists attacked 10 villages in the northern Nigerian state of Zamfara, killing 140 people. The terrorists not only carried out the massacre but also set fire to the houses and agricultural produce of the residents of the ten affected villages. Eyewitnesses say armed assailants on motorcycles targeted 10 villagers.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the suspect is turning his attention to the terrorist group Boko Haram. There have been bloody attacks in Nigeria in recent years. The attacks began in northern Nigeria and then spread to other areas.

The terrorist group Boko Haram has taken up arms to strengthen itself in northern Nigeria since 2009 and its attacks have spread to Niger, Chad, and northern Cameroon.

Meanwhile, Boko Haram has killed more than 30,000 people in those countries, while more than two million have been displaced by its attacks. The governments of the affected countries have so far failed to curb this terrorist group, which has further emboldened this terrorist group.
