 Federal govt cuts down petrol price by Rs14

The prices of petroleum products will be significantly reduced by the federal government on Friday for the next two weeks beginning on December 16. 
In line with a Ministry of Finance official announcement, the cost of gasoline has been reduced down to Rs267.34 a litre, a notable reduction of Rs14 per liter.



High-speed diesel will now cost Rs276.21 a litre due to the adjustments, which also include a drop of Rs13.50 per litre.
In addition, the cost of light diesel was reduced by Rs11.29 per litre, the new rate being Rs164.64 per litre, while the price of kerosene was reduced by Rs10.14 per litre to Rs191.02 per litre.
