Kathmandu: A 5.7-magnitude earthquake rocked the western Nepalese province of Jajarkot, resulting in 128 fatalities, hundreds of injuries, and a large pile-up of buildings. Foreign media reported that officials said that relief works had begun in the areas impacted by the earthquake, that numerous buildings and infrastructures had sustained significant damage, and that those who were trapped in the rubble were being evacuated.
