US Dollar continues winning streak against rupee

US dollar continued its winning streak against the Pakistani rupee (PKR) in the interbank on Tuesday.

According to SBP the greenback gained Rs 0.52 against the Pakistani rupee and closed at Rs 281.47. Furthermore, in the open market, the USD gained Rs o.50 and settled at Rs 283.

In the meantime, the price of gold increased in Pakistan, with the tola price rising by Rs 900 on the local market. According to the association, the price of the 24 carat gold increased by Rs 900 and settled at Rs 213,000 per tola in Pakistan. In contrast, the price of ten grams of the precious metal rose by Rs 771 to Rs 182,613.
